In this Washington CAN! e-newsletter, you will find:
  1. Regence Price Hike: More Corporate Greed (Tell your Story)
  2. Candidates' Forum on Immigrant & Refugee Issues (This Thursday)

1) Regence Price Hike: More Corporate Greed

Regence Blue Shield is the wealthiest private insurer in Washington state.  Their excess surplus has grown to over $890 million, up 78 percent from 2003.

But apparently hundreds of millions of our premium dollars still can't satisfy their greedy appetite for profit.  In May, Regence announced a massive premium hike -- an average of 19 percent and up to 40 percent for the elderly.  Enough is enough!

Have you been impacted by the Regence price hike?  We want to hear from you.  Tell us your story.  Visit http://action.washingtoncan.org today!
