This Human Rights Discussion workshop will engage leaders and organizers from Black and Brown communities to share and connect their lived experiences and develop a shared understanding of how human rights can connect their communities and their struggles. Participants will learn how to utilize the human rights framework for connecting community goals for fairness, justice, and dignity; gain knowledge on how to articulate how their human rights are upheld and/or violated through daily experiences; acquire skills needed to develop a declaration of human right statement based on their shared values.
