On Wednesday, June 13th, our Caring Across Generations Seattle City Council resolution was unanimously passed out of committee! Now, the resolution will face a vote before the full city council on June 25th.
We’ll show our support of the resolution in numbers and display the thousands of post cards we’ve collected in support of the resolution. If passed, Seattle will be the first city in the country to stand up for the rights of people who rely on care and the workers who provide care!
The City Council resolution is in support of the values of the Caring Across Generations campaign and seeks to transform long term care in the U.S. while protecting the dignity of those who need care as well as the workers who provide the care.
