Renters across Washington (except for a few cities) can get evicted without any reason with a 20-day no cause notice. These notices are used to get around typical processes for eviction and typically target low-income families and communities of color. We all need accountability for our systems to work, so we support legislation that requires landlords to provide a good reason before evicting renters into homelessness
You don’t need to provide your address, but a zip code is needed so lawmakers know what district you reside in. We need to show up and show out, so electeds know this is needed.
